About Photo Collage Maker
An indie creative tool built and maintained by one developer
Hi, I'm the creator behind Photo Collage Maker
Photo Collage Maker started as a late-night and weekend experiment to solve a layout problem of my own. I never expected so many creators to rely on it. Even today the project is maintained by just one person—me—balancing a full-time job, family life, and a love for building creative tools.
This is a purely personal passion project. No company, no investors, no marketing budget—just curiosity, a laptop, and the determination to keep going.
A personal project with real-world constraints
Keeping the app fast, stable, and privacy-friendly takes real time and money. Hosting, storage, asset licenses, and the occasional laptop battery all come out of my pocket. Whenever the bills arrive I have to decide which updates can ship this month and which improvements must wait.
Even with limited resources I try to include a small improvement in every release: new collage layouts, bug fixes, accessibility upgrades, and translations contributed by generous users. Progress isn’t always fast, but it never stops.
Free forever—that's the decision from day one
One thing has never changed: Photo Collage Maker will remain free. Creativity shouldn’t be blocked by a paywall. Open the site in your browser, no login or install required, and start making collages immediately.
- Core features will always stay free for personal use;
- Your projects live on your device—images are never uploaded to my servers;
- No hidden analytics scripts or third-party trackers;
- Frequent, incremental updates instead of risky rewrites.
How you can keep the project moving
If Photo Collage Maker helps you, any of these actions make a big difference:
- Share it with friends or teammates who might need a lightweight collage tool.
- Send feedback or ideas, including translation tweaks, feature requests, or bug reports—every message helps me set priorities.
- Tell your story, because real-world examples keep me motivated when resources are tight.
- Sponsor future development. I’m working on more flexible donation options; until then, reach out through the contact page if you’d like to help cover hosting costs.
Thank you for being here
Every email, every bug report, and every collage you share reminds me why this project matters. I’ll keep learning, iterating, and shipping updates—maybe slowly, but steadily. Photo Collage Maker will stay independent, privacy-first, and free for everyone who needs it.
If you’d like to know more—or just want to say hi—drop me a message through the contact page. I read every single note.
